Maidaan had a low third weekend of 5 crore nett apprx though it was steady compared to the last weekend with a drop of around 30%. The film has reached 41 crore nett and is probably looking at a end of around 50 crore nett.

The holds are not there because there is appreciation but because there is nothing out there in the cinemas for the public to watch. This would not have happened if collections were at higher levels and its a similar story for practically every film being screened as they collect at very low occupancy due to the lack of releases.

Maidaan will see its best collections in Mumbai circuit thanks to better numbers in Mumbai city. Mumbai city will collect far better than Delhi city for Maidaan which is the opposite of what happened with Shaitaan where Delhi city got better numbers.
