Bade Miyan Chote Miyan saw a big drop on the last day of the week as collections came down after Ram Navmi though they did not even grow much on the holiday. The total collections for the film stand at 47.50 crore nett in 8 days.
The performance of the film is much worse than Ram Setu which was also a Akshay Kumar national holiday release though Diwali instead of release. The minor little positive is the collectiosns are still managing to stay above Maidaan as this film looked like it would trend worse than Maidaan but both are very similar post Monday.
There are may reasons for the film not doing well but no reason can be given for the film being this bad. It seems today when the public does not want to see a film they just keep away. This is not the first time this has happened post pandemic but before the films have not been as big as Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan. The results have scared the industry and cinema owners would like to shut up shop and come back in June for better luck. The collections of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are as follows.
Thursday - 15,00,00,000 apprx
Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
