Dilwale looks set to be the highest opener of 2015 in Overseas with a likely total of $8.5 million. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the present record holder with business of $8.1 million. The Overseas opening is also the second best of all time after Dhoom 3. The film smashed all records in Gulf to become the biggest opener ever in that market. Not only did it set an all time record but also became the first film to cross $3 million in Gulf with a weekend of $3.2 mllion. 

The business in US / Canada was $1.9 million and here Bajirao Mastani actually had more theatres playing on 304 theatres against the 268 theatres of Dilwale. the Bajirao Mastani theatre count was a record for a Hindi film in US / Canada.it did well in the territory grossing $1.7 million.
