Airlift did well in its first weekend grossing 42.50 crore apprx. The film had a decent start but picked very well in the evening followed by huge growth on Saturday. As bulk of the business is from big cities, huge Sunday growth was always going to be difficult but it still managed to show a nice jump.
The first day business was 11 crore nett, second day was 14.50 crore nett and third day 17 crore nett. The best business is in Mumbai, Delhi / UP and East Punjab while Mysore showed a huge jump on Saturday.
Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar and CI have not grossed even as much as some of the under performing Akshay Kumar films but should manage fair business in the long run,
