Airlift had a strong second week grossing 10.75 crore nett in week three which takes its three week business to nearly 117 crore nett. Thr drop in the third week is 58% which is very good considering Ghayal Once Again had a big release and there was also Sanam Teri Kasam.
The film crossed 40 crore nett in Mumbai becoming the fourth Akshay Kumar starrer to hit this mark after Rowdy Rathore, Housefull 2 and Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. Delhi /UP has crossed 25 crore nett making it the highest Akshay Kumar film in that circuit beating the 24.40 crore nett of Rowdy Rathore
The film should be able to add another 5-6 crore nett business over the coming weeks giving it a final total of over 120 crore nett. This will make it the 19th highest grossing film ever. The distributor share will be 58 crore apprx.
