Ki & Ka had a decent first week of 37 crore nett apprx. The film had a slow start picking up on Friday evening, the growth was decent over the weekend though being an urban film it could have been stronger. The collections saw a normal 50% drop on Monday but then crucially held up pretty well thereafter.
The best collections are in Delhi NCR with area giving around 7.50 crore nett. The collections of the film are very similar to last years Badlapur and so is the trend and that film grossed around 50 crore nett. Even territory figures are similar, the main difference being the the lead for Ki & Ka in Mysore.
The difference between the two films may turn out to be that Badlapur had around 4.50 crore nett business come in week 3 and after while here that will be near impossible with the release of Fan so if it is to reach 50 crore nett a lot will depend on where the eighth day lands..
