The first five months of the year have gone by and with the season of the big films to start with Housefull 3 on Friday the year is on parity with last year. There was the disappointment of Fan a rare bi release in April which kept the numbers down.
The year has seen 94 releases notch up business of 815 crore nett in five months. the comparitive for last year was 810 crore nett from 86 releases. The flow of releases this year was better but business has not been much better.
The flow of releases in the second half is also better but it remains to be seen if business can really pick and get growth of 10%. The performance over the next 3 months is key as it is a very strong line up, at least on paper.,
