Aiyya opened poorly at 15-20% and the did not show much improvement. The collections were very bad in in the North. It will find it difficult to make a mark at the box office.

Bhoot Returns also had a dull opening of 10-15% and it seems the film has little chance of any improvement. The film had the widest release of the films released this week.

Makhi opened very poorly with collections of 5-10%. The dubbed blockbuster film from the South has found no takers in Hindi initially. The collections in North India multiplexes were horrendous. The film will pick up as it can't get any lower and reports are best out of all the new films but its tough for the film to go anywhere from such low levels.

English Vinglish had a fair week of 19 crore nett thanks to a good business on Saturday and Sunday. The film was steady on low collections from Monday onwards. The film should do lifetime business of around 30-35 crore nett depending on how the second week goes and how next week's big release Student Of The Year affects it.

OMG! Oh God had an excellent collecting around 22 crore nett and taking its two week total to around 58 crore nett. SUPER HIT
