Kahaani collected around 2.25 crore nett which is a decent collection but it also has a huge release of over 1000 screens. The bulk of the business came from Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab West Bengal and Mysore with these five circuits giving a contribution of over 80%.

The business including paid previews is around the 3 crore nett mark. The film has chances of a 10 crore nett weekend including paid previews obviously depending on growth over the weekend. Just normal growth for the weekend will take it over 9 crore nett for the weekend and good growth should take it to over 10 scrore nett.
