Sultan has come to the end of its run and has fallen 15 crore nett short of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It is all down to the major circuits of Mumbai and Delhi / UP. Sultan has done better in business in the South as at the time of Bajrangi Bhaijaan it had Baahubali to contend with but that better business has been cancelled out by business in Central and East India.

The Delhi / UP business is a huge 10 crore nett behind as UP was tax free for Bajrangi Bhaijaan from second week and Delhi city is 40% tax now while Bajrangi Bhaijaan managed 35% of its Delhi city business at 20% tax. There has also been a tax change in Gujarat since and that could account for the Mumbai shortfall. Below are the final comparison of NETT business for Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan for all circuits in India.
