Force 2 had a poor first week and has seen collections drop fast after the first week adding to the flop total of the year. The total collections of the film so far are 31.75 crore nett apprx. The drop in the second week is 79% which is too high for a film which did not collect in week one. The problem for the film was the opening as it was an action film and has to start well if it is to do well as the genre is front loaded. John Abraham has done many action / thriller type of films but has not really been accepted as an action star which is a must if his action films are to work. The audience has to accept a larger than life image which is not happening here. The collections of Force till date are as follows. 

Week One - 25,92,00,000

Week Two - 5,51,00,000

Weekend Three - 30,00,000

TOTAL - 31,73,00,000

The first week collections of Force (2011) were 20.99 crore nett and week two collected 3.80 crore nett with a finish of 25.71 crore nett so Force 2 has done better than that but due to costs the film is a bigger flop than the first Force. Films like Dishoom and A Flying Jatt managed to score big on television and it remains to be seen where Force 2 lands up on television though is very doubtful if it can match those films.
