Dangal (Hindi) took full advantage of the poor competition and recorded the second highest fifth weekend of all time. The film grossed 5.85 crore nett which is only 3 Idiots which grossed 6.25 crore nett. This is extraordinary considering how big the opening week numbers and patterns of business today. The tax exemptions are helping keep collections strong in Delhi UP and East Punjab while lack of competition outside South India keeps the film going in other circuits. The film has grossed 368 crore nett now and will end its fifth week at around 370 crore nett. The sixth week will see the biggest fall in its run as Kaabil and Raees release but it may be able to add a crore or two depending on the screen scenario. The business of Dangal (Hindi) till date is as follows.
