Kong - Skull Island did not fare too well in its weekend with business of around 11.50 crore nett in the first weekend. The film was better down South but still the business was lower than Logan released last week which grossed over 15 crore nett and its not as if that film is a major success or anything. The difference is also that Logan was competing witha  film like Commando 2 while Kong was up against Badrinath Ki Dulhania and this has meant that the business of Komg - Skull Island is limited in the Hindi circuits. A film like Kong - Skull Island had potential for bigger business in India but it has not happened for the film as far as the first weekend goes.

Commando 2 crashed in the second weekend with business of around 1 crore nett taking its total to a little over 21 crore nett. The film will close at 22 crore nett which is hardly better than the first Commando which closed at 20 crore nett four years ago.

Logan also dropped in the second weekend grossing in the 3.75-4 crore nett region taking its business to 28 crore nett. The film should finish at a little over 30 crore nett making it an AVERAGE fair. Though the business will remain lower than XXX - Return Of Xander Cage that film was a poor fare as it was heavily publicized in India and was expected to do much better but found no appreciation.
