Kong - Skull Island did Average business in South but fared poorly in the Hindi markets as it grossed 18.50 crore nett in the first week. The film had potential but like Godzilla a few years back it has not really fulfilled its potential in the Indian market. All the holdover releases found it tough as Badrinath Ki Dulhania dominated the box office.
