Badrinath Ki Dulhania recorded the highest second week collection of the year as it beat the 23.77 crore nett of Jolly LLB 2 with collections of 26.25 crore nett apprx. The drop in the second week is 64% which is solid trending. This takes the two week total of the film to 98 crore nett apprx and it will probably reach the 100 crore nett mark on Saturday.

The film will become the highest grossing film of Varun Dhawan (outside Dilwale) and Alia Bhatt before the third weekend is out and could reach the lifetime figure of Jolly LLB 2 by the end of the third which would make it the second highest grosser of 2017.  The business of Badrinath Ki Dulhania (Hindi) till date is as follows.

First Week - 71,77,00,000 

Second Week - 26,25,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 98,02,00,000

The film has done all over but the best performing belts are UP, Rajasthan and CI and in these areas it will become the highest grossing film of the year. This is a major feat for the film as it is beating the numbers of films like Raees and Jolly LLB 2 in mass areas where stars like Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar have a far wider reach than the cast of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. In Rajasthan and CI it has already collected as much as Jolly LLB 2 in just two weeks.
