Begum Jaan grossed a poor 15.50 crore nett in its first week. The film took a low first day even though it was a holiday and then the growth story is never going to be there coming off a holiday. The weekend remained dull and the weekdays saw very low collections. The film does not carry much hope for the second week despite competition not really being there. This may give it an outside chance to crawl to 20 crore nett but that will be it. There is hardly any revenue coming from Overseas and with this sort of of low theatrical revenue there is not much hope with television.

Fast & Furious 8 is a SUPER HIT film as it grossed 65.25 crore nett in its extended first week of eight days plus paid previews. Even if we take the seven day business it is the third highest opening week ever for Hollywood after The Jungle Book and Fast & Furious 8. The weekdays are not great but not too bad also and it could be the film could still remain the dominant film despite being in its second week as the competition is pretty weak. The film should cross 80 crore nett at least but its run will probably be cut short by one of the most awaited films ever Bahubali Part 2.
