The Shahrukh Khan Imtiaz Ali film has got a title which is Jab Harry Met Sejal and also a release date of 4th August with the theatrical to come with Tubelight end June.

The film did have an expected date of 11th August but it was a trade and media date and unofficial like the various names of the film but now it will release on the 4th August. The makers have left it very late to announce a name and date for the film which has led to speculation for months.  

This will mean that the film will try to benefit for the holiday in the second week like it happens on Christmas. This is the way to go for any big film as the holiday benefit is far bigger in the second week as the there are higher jumps and it gets that extra injection in week two but for that the content has to be there as not many films are collecting well enough to benefit in week two. Another plus will be the second week does not require the same number of shows as week one does to collect well so even with another big release Toilet - Ek Prem Katha i can collect content willing. Here the director Imtiaz Ali will have to surpass himself as with Shahrukh Khan a big first week is a sure shot.

This is a also better for the industry as if 11th August was announced for this film then it would have been a clash with Toilet - Ek Prem Katha and both films would have been affected but now both films can do full potential business.
