Bareilly Ki Barfi had a poor start of 10-15% on its opening shows but that is expected and the film is dependent on what happens later and more importantly tomorrow. The opening is not much below the sleeper HIT of the year Hindi Medium but that film had a good response from its target audience so got the numbers. For these films the first shows hardly matter in terms of collections, its more about the response of the people going in. Bareilly Ki Barfi has been beaten by Annabelle: Creation the horror film from Hollywood. This film has opened to double the occupancy of Bareilly Ki Barfi and is likely to record better collections unless Bareilly Ki Barfi has big jump in collections. 

The other English film which is also dubbed is Partition 1947 but it had practically zero audience despite being about India. It could be that the lifetime collectiosn of this film could be less than the first day of Annabell: Creation unless there is a huge turnaround.
