Golmaal Again has had a huge weekend with first weekend collections of 87 crore nett. The film was released on a national holiday which grossed around 30 crore nett but what is more important is how well it sustained post this holiday at these high levels. The film has stayed in the roughly the same range post the holiday showing a very negligible fall.

The film did start getting extra screens at multiplexes from Saturday as it was performing better than Secret Superstar which had a 50% share of screens at major multiplexes on Friday and this helped the film on Saturday and Sunday. The film is phenomenal in Mumbai circuit taking in close to 35 crore nett over the weekend which is extraordinary considering Raees at 41 crore nett has the best lifetime total this year after Bahubali - The Conclusion.  The other circuits have also done very well and now its on Monday to see if the film can actually become the first real big grosser of the year as far as outright Hindi films are concerned.  The collections of Golmaal Again till date are as follows.

Friday - 30,10,00,000 

Saturday - 28,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 28,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 87,10,00,000 apprx

Note - It is holiday period so final collections are at a slower than normal so there could be a little change to the daily number later on.
