Qarib Qarib Singlle grossed 12.25 crore nett in its first week which is a low collection. Actually it would not be that bad if the film did very well on weekdays which would give it a chance of a 30-40% drop in the second week but that is not the case here. The competition from Tumhari Sullu and Justice League will probably be enough for the film to struggle in the second week. Another Irrfan Khan film Madaari released last year had grossed 13.41 crore nett and its first week and finished with 17.79 crore nett and that is probably a best case scenario for this film.

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana was even worse than Qarib Qarib Singlle though it trended better on the weekdays by recording better collections on Monday than Friday. The problem is the first week is just 6.50 crore nett apprx which makes the weekdays hold of little meaning as collections are far too low. It has fared better than Qarib Qarib Singlle is places like UP and Bihar but its Mumbai collections are just about 30-35% of Qarib Qarib Singlle. It remains to be seen if it can Qarib Qarib Single in week two.

The horror film House Next Door grossed a very poor 1.25 crore nett in its first week and will not be going anywhere with such low first week collections.
