Tumhari Sulu grossed a low 17.50 crore nett first week with collections remaining on the lower side through the weekdays. But despite these low collections all is not lost as the main release of the week Firangi has been postponed which gives Tunhari Sulu some hope of collections in week two.

A good second Friday from Thursday hold will keep the film in the picture. The film has fared better in Mumbai circuit with collections of around 7 crore nett but North India is poor and the film really need Delhi NCR on board. the last film of Vidya Balan which was Begum Jaan had grossed 15.89 crore nett in week one.

Justice League had a fair first week of 25 crore nett but the problem is the collections fell fast from Monday onward. the film had opened 3 crore nett higher than Tumhari Sulu but by Thursday (Day 7) there was no difference in the collections of both films. This was not because that Tumhari Sulu held up well but because Justice League went down fast. Still the first week numbers are better than both main Hindi filsm Tumhari Sulu and Aksar 2 combined.

Aksar 2 is a poor fare with collections of 5.50 crore nett week but despite such low collections it is still running in week two due to no other alternatives. Aksar in 2006 had grossed 8.50 crore nett apprx and this is an impossible task for Aksar 2. The film lacked the music element of the first film and without that the thriller films dont really work in India.
