Fukrey Returns had another strong day on Sunday with collections set to be around 12.50 crore nett. The growth is limited on Sunday in the 15% range but the job is more than done. The film has comfortably gone over the 30 crore nett mark and its likely that the film will cross the business of the previous Fukrey film in 2013 in just 4 days. Even on a worst case scenario the film will be 35 plus after its business on Monday. The weeeknd has done very well and North India seems on a run so a 25 crore share for HIT business is a certainty for the film.

The film is a HIT but its important that the film actually does hold from here because that is what will establish it as a franchise film. Its not profitability which makes a franchise but appreciation and if the film can go on from here then a next Fukrey film which will probably be on the cards considering these results actually becomes big. Obviously everything will have to be upped but a higher scale film and appreciation from the previous film makes for huge potential.

The Sunday growth is a bit limited as the film has a huge ratio of business from Delhi NCR and there the occupancy is flat and same as Saturday as it was already very high and there is not much upside.
