Padmaavat has recorded the 8th highest second Friday of time at 9.50 crore nett. The film is just 2 crore nett behind the Xmas Tiger Zinda Hai but with 25% of the market missing. Also the second Friday for Padmaavat is the 9th full day for the film whereas it is eighth for most of the other films in the list below.

The film is on the verge of opening up in the markets which did not release last week due to the protests and this could make everything work out very well for the film. The film got unparalleled hype from the protests and agitation against the film which put the film at a very high level of collections in the places it did release and then on top the content has worked and now it will be playing across India very soon.
