The film is a biopic of a handicapped IRS officer Ajay Singh who is Deputy Commissioner of income tax at Ranchi (Jharkhand). Ajab Singh born in a poor farmer family lost his eyes and ears in an accident and became partially blind and deaf due to costly medical treatment which his parents did not afford.
