The story is about the reality of the Adivasi children of India who have been deprived of education for centuries. And their talents are usually lost within the conferment of remote forests and mountains. Son of a billionaire businessman, after completing his education in Oxford University, comes back to India and leaves his house telling his father that he has decided to go to the forest area so as to teach Adivasi children.
People in the city give huge donation to schools and colleges but nobody cares for the Adivasi children, who are deprived of even basic education for the past many centuries he argues. Finally he leaves on his noble mission. This man is later known as Guruji among the Adivasi's. While teaching the Adivasi children he comes across little Shanti, the main protagonist, and feels that Shanti has extraordinary talent. And that if she is given proper education she can become and asset of the nation.
He therefore brings her along to the city after his retirement. On completing her education in the city, Shanti joins police force. She sincerely performs her duty and soon becomes enemy of many a criminals. Also she tries to root out the illegal business of a corrupt MLA Maya Madam, who is politically well-connected. She destroys her, Shanti is forced to resign. But she dose not give up. Shanti meets Om and tells her story to him. Om advises her to join politics saying that iron cuts iron.
Then begins a battle of good against evil, does the good defeat evil? Would Guruji's dreams come true? Would Shanti succeed in eradicating the crime and corruption form her city?
