Mom (Hindi) had a good hold on Monday dropping around 25% on Monday to collect in the 2.25 crore nett range. Its a good hold but these sort of films that will only be liked by a limited audience have to be doing around the Friday number on Monday and in those terms it should have done better on Monday. The first week seems to be heading for a 22-23 crore nett total and then its all down to where the second Friday lands which will tell where the film is going. 

The film has done well in Mumbai but North is very crucial for these multiplex films as it has a  large number of premium multiplexes and these theatres which hold strong into week two and three but Mom has not really performed in North and this is where the film will probably struggle in the long run. The collections of Mom for the first weekend are as follows.

Friday - 3,00,00,000

Saturday  - 5,00,00,000

Sunday - 6,25,00,000

Monday - 2,25,00,000

Total - 16,50,00,000

The film has done decent business in Mumbai circuit with good contributions from Mumbai city and Pune and should easily clock up around 9 crore nett plus in the circuit.
