Spiderman - Homecoming has done well in week one with collections of 43 crore nett in week one. The holds were reasonable in the weekdays and the collections were almost double the main Hindi release Mom. The last two Spiderman films crossed 50 crore nett with the last one doing 56 crore nett in 2014 and this could beat that film and maybe even reach 60 crore nett.  It is the second highest grosser from Hollywood this year after Fast & Furious 8  which did 85 crore nett.

Mom had a low first week of 23 crore nett which is similar to what Hindi Medium grossed a month or so back and the trend of Mom on weekdays was decent but it remains to be seen if it can follow through into the second week. It has competition with Jagga Jasoos but that is unlikely to take that killer opening to affect the run of Mom and Mom has a screen at major multiplexes which will be enough for it to collect well. The bigger problem is the film has not been appreciated in Delhi / NCR / Punjab and its the multiplexes here that tend to hold well and take the likes of Pink and Hindi Medium to good final totals.  The film is dependent on Mumbai, South and West Bengal and these places will have to be very good on day eight for the film to pull through.

Guest In London had a poor first week of 7.50 crore nett. The weekdays saw a normal trend but it wont be adding much in the second week and will close at around 8 crore nett.
