The three main Hindi films Bhoomi, Haseena Parkar and Newton have got stumped by regional films. In main its Telugu film Jai Lava Kusa doing the damage which has opened huge in its home market of Nizam / Andhra but even in Mumbai city / Thane belt it is scoring over Haseena Parkar and Bhoomi. The all India opening day of Jai Lava Kusa could be among the top ten of all time at a national level but that will only be known tomorrow. In the North, Punjabi film Nikka Zaildar has taken a good opening and is easily beating the Hindi films in Punjab and parts of Delhi. There is also Kingsman - The Golden Circle in the mix which is top film in some parts of the country and on an all India basis this has a better occupancy than the Hindi films though its not good.

If we compare the Hindi films then Bhoomi is leading in most parts of the country followed by Haseena Parkar and then Newton. In Mumbai / Maharashtra, Haseena Parkar has taken a better opening than Bhoomi but in most other parts Bhoomi is ahead. Surprisingly a film like Newton has opened better than Haseena Parkar in some Delhi multiplexes which is not a plus for Newton but shows how bad the collections of Haseena Parkar are in North India. If we take out Jai Lava Kusa and Nikka Zaildaar 2 then the opening order in some main cities look as follows.
