Poster Boys featuring Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade has emerged a surprise HIT on television with impressions on its first showing which beat films like Raees and Baadshaho.  The film had fared very poorly at the box office with collections of just 11.64 crore nett and it is rare for such a low grossing film to get over 50 lakh impressions on first viewing and this is not including dubbed Telugu films which score without a theatrical release.

Poster Boys has the 12th highest rating of the year and if we take out the two Telugu dubbed films then it is in the top ten. The other surprise is Commando but that had double the collections of Poster Boys at the box office. The top films on television this year are as follows. the numbers are impressions which are the number of television sets viewing the film.
