Padmaavat recorded a huge extended opening weekend of 110 crore nett as it added around 30 crore nett on Sunday. The figure has come in four days plus paid previews but with film unable to play at many places over the weekend the real value for the business till date is around 145 crore nett.

It is likely to hold very well as Mumbai and South were off too a flyer and the collections in East Punjab and DUP were higher on Sunday than the national holiday on Friday which suggests the North market has come on board after a slow start. The film did not show big growth on Sunday as many of the areas which record high occupancy on Sunday are not screening Padmaavat.

The film will hold on Monday and is sure to do over 200 crore and be a HIT film but the question is how well can Monday hold which will give an idea of how far the film can go. The business of Padmaavat till date is as follows.
