Padmaavat had a very strong hold on Monday as it recorded business of 14.25 crore nett. The drop is just 20% from the first day but this could have been even less if ticket rates did not drop like with Tiger Zinda Hai which kept enhanced rates over the weekdays.

The film has now grossed 124 crore nett and is looking to end its extended  first week at around 160 crore nett. It held best in Delhi NCR and East Punjab with collections being better than Thursday at many centers in these areas. This is because the film not open huge in these two markets. In Mumbai city, Pune it is heading to be highest grosser of all time outside Bahubali - The Conclusion.

Overall the film will probably emerge a SUPER HIT on numbers but if we take into account the mising business where it did not release then the film is a BLOCKBUSTER. The business of Padmaavat till date is as follows.

Wednesday - 4,25,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 17,75,00,000 apprx

Friday - 31,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 27,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 29,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 14,25,00,000 apprx

Grand Total - 1,24,00,00,000

Note the Monday figures may have plus/minus 5% variance due to the clustered release of the film.
