Hindi Medium had a huge five day holiday weekend with business hitting $21.50 million apprx which is a weekend of INR 140 crore. The film has crossed a big HIndi film like PK in five days flat. It is a far bigger HIT in China than the film is in India following the path of Secret Superstar which was a far bigger HIT in China. in fact in India the film was not even a HIT.
The film saw 44 lakh footfalls in just five days when when in India in its whole run it got 54.72 lakh footfalls. Secret Superstar got 2 crore footfalls in China while in India it got less than Hindi Medium with 50.87 lakh. The weekday numbers will tell how far this film will go in China but with such a huge number on the board already its has covered the release cost which were big with film releasing on 18000 plus screens.
