Carry On Jatta 2 is a blockbuster film and has created history by becoming the first Punjabi film to collect over 8 crore nett in India for the first time. The Sunday collections went over 3 crore nett which has also never happened for a Punjabi film before.

The film easily managed to outscore Veere Di Wedding in Punjab and Veere Di Wedding has done well itself with Punjab being its second best territory after Delhi / UP. The first Carry On Jatta film had collected around 10 crore nett which was a huge total for that time and was one of biggest hits ever for Punjabi cinema  but this film will surpass that film in a matter of days.

The first weekend NETT collections of Carry On Jatta 2 across India are as follows.

Friday - 2,32,00,000 

Saturday - 2,67,00,000 

Sunday - 3,20,00,000 apprx

TOTAL -  8,19,00,000 apprx

The weekend collections have shown good growth from an excellent start and now it is about that Monday hold. It looks set to hold well but the question will be how well.

The film could have chances to be the highest grossing Punjabi film of all time depending on how strong the weekdays hold. The problem will be Race 3 which is likely to stop the run Carry On Jatta 2 in its third week. 

The Overseas collections of the film are also very good giving it a worldwide first weekend records as well.
