Sanju has crossed the 200 crore mark worldwide in its first weekend becoming the third film in history to do this after Sultan and Bahubali - The Conclusion. Sultan got over 200 crore worldwide during the Eid period but Sanju has done it on a non holiday period.

The Overseas collections are short of record levels coming in at number 13 or 14 in the all time chart but India is phenomenal with the second highest of all time and that has pushed the film to a 200 crore plus number worldwide. Sanju ahs easily beaten Race 3 which grossed 180 crore a few weeks back though over the Eid period. It has also beaten the other social drama Dangal though that film scored better in Overseas but was no match in India as far as the first weekend is concerned.

The top opening weekend collections worldwide are as follows.
