Gold has shown an upturn in business on Friday as collections go up by around 25-30% to 10-10.25 crore nett which takes its total business to 43 crore nett apprx. This is a plus for the film considering what happened yesterday as it fell 70% but it makes Saturday the most crucial day for the film as the momentum has to continue.

The death of ex prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee meant it was a holiday in some states and there was a Parsi New Year holiday in Mumbai. This means it was a holiday in Mumbai and Delhi which could have boosted collections on Friday but that remains to be seen and Saturday will tell if it was part holiday boost or the film is gaining momentum again. Still the film is in a better position now compared to where it was on day two.

Satyamev Jayate will return similar collections to Thursday at around 7.50 crore nett which is also pretty good. The growth is not there but still these levels are good enough for this film financially speaking. The problem for the film will be if there was a boost of the some states being on holiday and Parsi New Year and Satyameva Jayate did not take advantage but like Gold only the collections tomorrow will tell.

The film has collections of 33.50 crore nett till date which is a decent total with Saturday and Sunday still to come.
