Gold had a big drop on Monday as it collected 3.75-4 crore nett. The drop is 60% from Friday when the normal drop is 50%. It is the sixth day so you can allow a little bit more than the normal 50% but 60% is going a bit far. It dropped more than Satyameva Jayate as it had a higher ratio of business coming from multiplexes where ticket rates drop on Monday.

Also the film is just for metros going by the Monday figures and if the other cities recorded respectable collections over the first five days it was because of the mass pull of Akshay Kumar. The film is now basically just relying on metros barring Bakri Eid on Wednesday where other cities may get a lift. The collections after six days are 74.25 crore nett for Gold

The extended first week business should go to around 85-86 crore nett as Wednesday should get a lift in business but the film really needed to be holding better on Monday and go over the 90 crore nett mark for week one..
