Stree had its first noticeable drop on Thursday but has done fantastic business of the week with around 59 crore nett. It is ahead of Sonu Ke Tito Ki Sweety and Raazi though it has got ahead of the latter due to Janmashtami holiday on Monday. The numbers of the film are excellent in the Hindi belt be it UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, CP Berar and CI especially as the film does not face value.

 

 

The bigger cities are also very good but here many films do well without face value. Its when these films do the numbers in the heartland then they come out with very big numbers. The Friday number will decide where the film is going but it should be able to reach the 100 crore nett mark considering Sonu Ke Tito Ki Sweety reached the 100 crore nett mark and the first week was just 44.50 crore nett and this is already 14 crore nett plus ahead.

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se had a very poor first week as it collected 9.25 crore nett and will hardly add to its business. The film recovered around 36 crore from satellite and digital  which meant budget was practically covered but the big problem is there has been no appreciation of the film from the audience.
