Thugs Of Hindostan and Race 3 have seen similar business across India over the first three days at around 100 crore nett. The break up of multiplexes and single screens is very similar. The single screen screen business of Thugs of Hindostan is like Race 3 but it has to factored in that Race 3 was pre Eid on day one which meant a huge hit in single sceeen business and Thugs of Hindostan has seen a holiday in UP, Gujarat and Bihar in all the first three days and these three places have a huge concentrate of single screens. Like for like you can add around 3 crore Race 3 for day one due to pre Eid and take off 3 crore from Thugs Of Hindostan for the 3 day holiday period in UP, Gujrat and Bihar.

Both films have not been liked but the figures show the Salman Khan factor in single screens if the release was like for like. Below is a break up of the all India business. Barring the three big chains, the other figures are apprx for Thugs Of Hindostan. Race 3 are finals.

The territorial breakdown is below and the main difference here is Gujarat. Thugs Of Hindostan is far ahead in Gujrat by around 3 crore nett apprx but that is Guajrat over Diwali when collections are big. Last year Golmal Again broke the all time record in Gujarat barring Bahubali - The Conclusion. Race 3 sees better numbers in East and Nizam / Andhra. Mysore is better for Thugs of Hindistan and there is the Aamir Khan factor.

Race 3 is ahead in East Punjab which should mean that Delhi / UP should be even more far ahead than East Punjab but the three holiday factor in UP means that Thugs Of Hindostan has better figures in Delhi / UP.
