2.0 took a hit in Southern versions as its collections dropped around 30% on its second day but its not as bad as it seems as the way business is reported in Andhra tends to escalate the second day drop. In actual reporting through cinemas like we do in Hindi cinema the Andhra first day is lower than the market reports and the second day and all the rest in week one are more than they report. The film collected in the 44-45 crore nett region on day two. The two day collections are a little under 110 crore nett.
The main problem for the film is business is Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Hindi market is best followed by Karnataka / Mysore and Andhra Pradesh when the home market of Tamil Nadu should be stronger. the overseas markets are very bad for the Hindi version but Tamil is also not upto the mark.
The first two day NETT collections 2.0 across India are as follows.

Rajnikant has the biggest films in the South after the Bahubali films with both Endhiran (Robot in Hindi) and Kabali doing over 300 crore worldwide. In fact these two are the only South Indian films to cross this mark outside Bahubali.
This film will easily top 300 crore but the target is more than double that due to the film going heavily over budget.
