The Hindi version of KGF showed a jump of 40% apprx on Christmas Day which is lower growth than normal for a national holiday but the film still came out with its best day in its run till date. The film collected around 4.25 crore nett on Tuesday to take its total to 16.25 crore nett. The growth on Christmas Day is generally less than normal for all films this year.

The film is trending very well on the weekdays as Mumbai circuit continues to do good business. The film is a HIT in Mumbai with business of 9 crore nett till date. Despite Simmba coming on Friday the film will manage to have good screen time in the circuit as it is holding good occupancy. North has low occupancy but it is holding at low levels.

The numbers are coming from 1500 screens but the capacity is lower than a film like Hicki released on less than 1000 screens as multiplex screens are less. The capacity is far more important than the screen count  The approx five day figures of KGF (Hindi) are as follows.

The collections of the film across India in all formats are 84 crore nett in five days and it will cruise past 100 crore nett in the first week. It is mainly due to the local market of the film in Karnataka which has grossed 60 crore nett in five days. Bahubali 2 is the only film to 100 crore nett in Karnataka and this film could beat the figures of Bahubali - The Conclusion as Christmas period is huge in Bangalore.
