Q. Can any film beat the opening day record of Thugs Of Hindostan in 2019?
K. Mehta
A. It should be beaten with lower GST rates this year and ticket prices rising over 2019. But should and will are different things. The best bet will be the untitled Hrithik - Tiger film in October. Then the other two with chances will be Bharat and Brahmastra. There is the general feeling that the record can only be beaten on a national holiday but if a film is a genuine craze across the country then the Thugs Of Hindostan record can also be beaten on a normal day. The opening day records should actually be turned over yearly and even opening day footfalls as the releases get wider.

Q. Who is the biggest star out of Rajkumar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan and Ayushmann Khurana and which order would they come in.
J.C. Manuja
A. Star is going a bit far as its not just a HIT which makes you a star but you do in them also. Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan have done something which is close to a star in films like Uri - The Surgical Strike and Sonu Ki Tito Ki Sweety but its one film each and whether their next films can open well is still open to question. That box office stardom is not there but between the four the order right now would be Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Ayushmann Khurana and Rajkumar Rao.
Q. Did KGF cross 50 crore and can the second part break out like a Bahubali as the the first part has been hugely liked?
R. Vaidyan
A. It was below 50 crore nett at around 42-43 crore nett. Bahubali the first part itself broke out across all Hindi circuits while KGF remained a Maharashtra film so it wont be a a repeat of Bahubali. But the television numbers will give a better idea.
