Simmba ran out of gas in the fifth week due to the competition as it dropped over 80% from the fourth week. The film grossed 1.15 crore nett apprx and the total is a little over 239 crore nett. The film will finish close to the 240 crore nett mark. The collections of Simmba till date are as follows. 

Week One- 1,50,26,00,000

Week Two - 61,65,00,000 

Week Three - 20,05,00,000 

Week Four - 6,20,00,000 

Week Five - 1,15,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 2,39,31,00,000 apprx

Thackeray has fared poorly at the box office with the Hindi version collecting 15 crore nett in week one and the Marathi version collecting around 10 crore nett in week one. It means a total of a 25 crore nett in all formats for Thackeray.

The Hindi version was a dud from day one all over barring Maharashtra and even here the collections could not be called good as far as the Hindi version went. The Marathi version took a very strong opening and had a very good first weekend but the collections went downhill in a big way from Monday.

The Hindi version will do less than The Accidental Prime Minister and remain under 20 crore nett and even in all formats the film could remain under 30 crore nett as there will be a huge drop on the second Friday and the Marathi version will also not contribute a lot.
