Gully Boy collected 12.50-12.75 crore nett on its second day which is a drop of 33-35% which is a normal drop post a partial holiday type of day like Valentines Day. It is not an actual holiday but for a youth film like this it gave a 40% boost so a 35% apprx drop the next day is okay.
The drop is more in some areas but those areas are unlikely to work for this film anyway and the drop in metros which is target audience is less than 30% and it is this audience which will decide the fate of the film. Despite a drop in the metros they are still doing huge numbers and they should see solid growth on Saturday. It probably wont be huge like the metro films see normally on Saturday as this film was released a day early on Thursday and did a good number
The film is best in Mumbai, Delhi / UP, Nizam / Andhra, Mysore and West Bengal. thes eplaces have big contributions from metros so are doing well. A Delhi / UP has a 70% contribution for the circuit coming from just the 50 odd theatres in Delhi city and Noida. The two day collections are 32 crore nett apprx.

Friday - 19,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 12,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 32,00,00,000 apprx
The weekend total will be good for the film but it is the trend on Saturday and Sunday which can give an idea for the business on the weekdays. If both days show good solid jumps it will have a good chance of holding strongly on Monday at least with the target audience.
The appreciation seems to be split with big metros really liking the film and others not so much which is pretty much as expected.
