Kesari had a decent Tuesday as collections went down in the 10-15% range to collect 7-7.25 crore nett. The film was steady in Mumbai circuit in Tuesday after it had seen a drop on Monday. The major cities in UP and Punjab like Lucknow, Kanpur, Ludhiana and Chandigarh were rock steady.

The total collections of the film are now around 94 crore nett and it should hit the 100 crore nett mark within the first seven days if Wednesday has a similar drop to Tuesday. It will be important to trend the same way on Wednesday as Tuesday because many major releases see big drops on Wednesday but its mainly about the Thursday to Friday collections for this film.

If it can maintain well there then it will be set for a good run for the next 2-3 weeks before the big films arrive. The film will be the highest first week for an Akshay Kumar starrer outside 2.0(Hindi) which collected an excellent 127 crore nett in week one.
