There was a big clash of Punjabi films with the release of Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh and Muklawa and the latter has come out on top but the clash was always going to hurt.

Muklawa has managed to do average business on day one while Chandigarh Amirtsar Chandihgarh is poor. The fact that Muklawa is a more rooted film while Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh is a generic rom com probably gave Muklawa the edge.

It will be tough for Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh to recover from here, if it was a solo release it would have stood a chance while Muklawa can still do well if it can show a strong trend over the weekend. The all India collections of the films were as follows.
