Kaabil Opened in China today (Wednesday) to a very dull response with very poor collections. This is not unexpected as this sort of film will hardly appeal to Chinese audience but its China release had a lot of hype in India. Maybe as Hrithik Roshan's first film but probably not the best choice as China would have so many local thriller type of films like this.

The opening day collections of the film may not hit $50k while the previews had collected around $15k. It will be one of the worst performances in China by a Hindi film for a longtime. A Sultan which also would have had no appeal for China still managed to get close to $1 million last year.

This sort of start hardly gives it any chance in China with only a national holiday on Friday maybe offering some upturn but from this start it will hardly make a difference.

Meanwhile has done well at it stands at $16 million which is a good result for the film and is the 8th highest grossing Indian film in China.
