Dream Girl had the sixth best second week of the year as it collected an excellent 37.75 crore nett. this takes the film to around 108 crore nett in two weeks. The drop in the second week was just 46%. The second week collections are a little less than Chhichhore.

The film should hold strongly on third Friday as there hardly any release of note but the week will also be cut short as War releases on Wednesday and that film is sure to take a big start and dominate the box office. On the trend it seems like Dream Girl should go on and beat the numbers of Badhaai Ho but the obstacle of War might prove too big and it the final figures remain lower than Badhaai Ho. Badhaai Ho had collected 27.69 crore nett from a 61.17 crore nett first week 97 days)  which is a bigger drop than Dream Girl and at lower levels.
