Commando 3 did pretty well on Saturday as it collected 5.50-5.75 crore nett takings its two day total to 10.50 crore nett apprx. It is solid Saturday growth for this type of film and the mass circuits have not dropped much which is a plus. The likes of Bihar and CP Berar which are single screen dominated have the same collections as day one.  .

The film can follow this Saturday growth with a good jump on Sunday and if this happens then the film may turn out be the first success for the franchise in terms of theatrical business. Commando and Commando 2 have done very well on television but none of the films have even reached the 25 crore nett mark in terms of box office collection but this film has a good chance to set a new benchmark for the franchise.
