Pati Patni Aur Woh has done well collecting around 8.50-8.75 crore nett on day one. which is the highest opening day ever for a Kartik Aryan film beating the numbers of Luka Chuppi which was released around 9 months back.

The numbers are a little short of Dream Girl and Bala which did 9.4 and 9.3 crore nett respectively. The film has scored best in Delhi / UP with collections topping the 2 crore nett mark. The film is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name and that was a totally Mumbai circuit film but a different feel for the new film has made this film a more universal film. Its unlikely to do big numbers across mass circuits but bigger cities in mas circuits be it Jaipur, Lucknow or Indore all should well enough for these circuits to have healthy numbers.

The film should post solid growth on day two and it is films like Bala and Dream girl which will be the bench mark as far as growth is concerned. The last five opening days of Kartik Aryan films are as follows.
