Panipat recorded poor numbers on day one as it collected 4-4.25 crore nett on day one though the Maharashtra are is much better than the rest.  The bulk of the collections are coming from Maharashtra which means circuits like Mumbai, CP Berar and Nizam / Andhra have done the best. The collections in Nizam / Andhra at 35 lakhs are similar to Pati Patni Aur Woh despite that film doing double the numbers at an all India level.  .

It will be Mumbai circuit that may be able to edge the film past the 4 crore nett as that circuit could be around 1.75 crore nett. North (Delhi / UP and East Punjab) is poor as both together will hardly reach 1 crore nett.  The film will need to show a big turnaround on Saturday to have any chance and it is difficult for a major release to double up or show 70-80% growth which is the bare minimum requirement.

The film has collected more than the last two Arjun Kapoor releases but those were very dull and smaller films. The last five opening days of Arjun Kapoor films are as follows.

2. Indias Most Wanted - 1,76,00,000

3. Namaste London - 1,61,00,000
